We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial processes. Duties
Assist in the preparation of financial transactions.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Process invoices on then AP ledger.
Issue billing invoices.
Deal with queries relating to payments over the phone.
Credit control whern required - calling and by email.
Reconcile bank statements.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
Respond to internal and external financial inquiries as required.
Skills
Strong numerical proficiency with attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Familiar with Microsoft Excel.
Good communication skills, must be confident with English language.
Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is advantageous but not essential.
This would suit someone looking for a steady transactional finance role or those looking to build on their experience in an office environment. Please note that this is not a hybrid working role.
