We're looking for a Finance Assistant to join our friendly team in Montrose. If you're organised, great with numbers, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
What you'll do
Process purchase and sales ledgers, invoices, and reconciliations.
Manage petty cash, employee expenses, and credit cards.
Handle credit control and resolve supplier/customer queries.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance.
Use your Sage 200 experience to keep everything on track.
What we're looking for
Previous finance/accounts experience.
Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
Experience with Sage 200 software is a big plus.
The details
Office-based in Montrose
40-hour working week, Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Qualifications
A minimum of GCSEs or equivalent in Mathematics and English; further finance or accounting qualifications are desirable
Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Good numerical ability and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Pay: 26,000.00-28,000.00 per year
