Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support our Finance team with day-to-day operations across Morph and The Pharmacist Network Group. The successful candidate will have experience in payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and managing both accounts payable and receivable. You will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This is an hybrid role with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote working.

Key Responsibilities



Payroll:



Assist in preparing and processing monthly payroll accurately and on time. Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with HMRC and pension regulations. Respond to employee queries regarding pay and deductions.

Bank Reconciliations:



Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts. Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Accounts Payable:



Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and staff expenses in line with company procedures. Prepare payment runs and reconcile supplier statements. Handle queries from suppliers and maintain good relationships.

Accounts Receivable:



Raise and issue sales invoices and credit notes. Allocate customer payments and monitor outstanding balances. Chase overdue accounts in line with credit control policies.

General Finance Duties:



Support month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and journal postings. Maintain accurate financial records and assist with audits. Provide ad-hoc support to the Finance Manager and wider team as required.

Skills and Experience



Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a finance role with exposure to payroll, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Qualifications



AAT qualified or working towards an accounting qualification (or equivalent experience).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00-28,000.00 per year
