About the Role
This role plays a key part within the Finance team, where your daily duties will include:
Monitor and manage the shared Finance email inbox
Deal with incoming finance telephone calls, contact customers and suppliers to resolve open balances and account queries to support ongoing relationships
Updating and maintaining accurate financial records on the sales and purchase ledgers
Processing BACS receipts, sales credits, RMA's/debit notes, supplier invoices, supplier payment runs, ledger statement reconciliations, ensure all internal policies are adhered to
Support customer rebate reporting
Credit checks on new and existing customers, monitoring credit terms and limits
Responsible for various weekly and monthly reporting
Your working hours will be 37.5 per week Monday to Friday, working hours of 9am to 5pm.

We are looking for an experienced, motivated individual who is keen to develop with a growing business. Our ideal candidate will have:
Able to communicate effectively both written and verbally, to an extremely high standard
Able to communicate with all levels within the organisation
Excellent attention to detail
Able to work independently and as part of a team, adhering to strict deadlines
Possess excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Excel
Previous experience within a finance department in a similar role
Desirable
Experience using Epicor System or ERP systems
Previous experience working within a finance department
Working towards AAT qualification
