Job Description

PrepWorld is seeking a

Finance Assistant

to join our team on a Monday to Friday schedule. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our finance operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Main Duties:

Register new suppliers Obtain invoice approval and ensure invoices are coded correctly Process supplier invoices and credits to the accounting system Generate a weekly payment run for all suppliers (including foreign currency) Process all supplier payments to the ledgers Resolve disputes and exceptions Perform purchase ledger reconciliations between supplier accounts and statements

Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Proven time management skills, accustomed to working with and meeting time critical deadlines. Resilient, problem solving, flexible, reliable, honest. Attention to detail and accuracy.

Specific Knowledge & Experience

More than 2 years' experience in a similar role

Good understanding of VAT (including reverse charges)

Accustomed to working with and interpreting data

(essential)

IT skills - highly proficient with Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and accounting packages.

Confidence and experience in working with Business Central

(Desirable)

Experience of the fruit or fresh produce industry (desirable) or any other FMCG industry.

Days and Hours of work:

Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00, with 1 hour break.

Salary:

30,000 - 35,000 per annum (paid monthly)
