Are you an experienced and organised finance assistant with strong accounting and interpersonal skills? Are you looking for a new challenge in a fast moving and evolving position where you'll have the opportunity for a varied role in a supportive and inspiring environment. If so, we invite you to become a part of our vibrant new SEN school, nestled in the breathtaking Surrey Hills

You will be responsible forProcessing invoices, payments and receipts, checking supplier statements, reconcile bank statements and perform balance sheet reconciliations Supporting cashflow reporting, budget monitoring and analysis Assisting with school fee management including billing, collection, reconcillation and liasion with the Local Authorities Providing administration support to the Head of Finance Managing transactional accounting in Xero and linked software (ApprovalMax, Dext, Pleo)
For at least this academic year, you'll be based in the reception of our newly opening Lower School where you will additionally provide a professional and welcoming administration service to ensure efficient support for pupils, staff, and parents including handling telephone calls, supporting first aid and welcoming visitors.

Due to the nature of the role we are not able to offer flexible working arrangements during the school term. We are however happy to consider flexible working requests for the school holiday periods.

All staff play a key role in nurturing the wellbeing and personal development of our pupils, supporting their social and emotional growth and embodying the school's values and ethos each day. While experience of working in a school or supporting learners with autism would be advantageous, it is not essential. Full induction and ongoing training are provided as part of our commitment to professional excellence.
