of Darklake View, Estover, Plymouth, PL6 7TL is a fast growing, customer-focused workwear provider in the UK market, servicing thousands of clients throughout the United Kingdom.

We are seeking a detail-oriented

Finance Assistant

to join our finance team on a six month temporary basis, with the potential to move to a permanent contract. This role involves processing invoices, data entry, resolving outstanding invoices, and troubleshooting payment queries. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Processing daily purchase and sales invoices using Sage 50 and ERP Assisting with credit control and daily accounts receivable functions Investigating and resolving purchase invoice queries, involving liaison both internally with colleagues across the company, and externally with suppliers General filing of invoices, archiving, and maintenance of other filing systems Assisting with annual audit process General support to Finance Team Leader & Manager Assisting with development of Finance policies and procedures

Key Skills & Experience:



Previous experience in accounts, finance, or data entry roles is preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Excellent communication skills for liaising with vendors and internal teams Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with Sage50, or similar accounting software, is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided Problem solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges
