Finance Assistant

to join our Finance team and support the smooth running of our financial operations.

About the Role



As a Finance Assistant, you will work closely with the Finance Manager to handle day-to-day banking, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) tasks. You'll also prepare invoices for UK and export deliveries, ensuring compliance with customs requirements.

Key Responsibilities



Manage credit control and proactively chase overdue debts. Set up new customer accounts and perform credit checks. Process customer billing and vendor invoices. Allocate daily cash receipts and payments. Prepare monthly statements and perform reconciliations. Support audits and maintain compliance with VAT and customs regulations. Assist with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis. Operate reception and switchboard duties as required Time and Attendance Reporting

What We're Looking For



Experience in accounts payable and receivable roles. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Ability to plan and organise effectively to meet deadlines.

We offer a basic salary of up to 33000 per annum (dependent on experience)and a working week of 4 days (38.25 hours per week).
