KEY DUTIES

Billing and sales ledger management Invoice processing and purchase ledger management Assist with payroll processing and reconciliation as necessary Assist with bank account processing and reconciliation as necessary Support month-end and year-end financial procedures Assist with audit preparation and documentation Other financial and general administrative tasks as required by the Central Trust Finance Managers Exact duties are likely to change as the Trust grows but will be in the above areas.
LIAISON AND COMMUNICATION

To maintain an up-to-date electronic diary, weekly/monthly overview to ensure organisation of own diary is communicated with key staff across the Trust To establish methods of liaison with the Finance Manager and other parts of the central team to ensure your team is working in partnership To communicate effectively with a range of Trust personnel including (but not exclusively) the CEO, CFO and Finance Manager Business Managers and Finance Leads in the academies
WORKING TIME

This is a full-time post, 37 hours per week, year-round but with flexibility available at first for the right candidate Due to the nature of the role, the academy financial year (1st September to 31st August) must be adhered to. Core working hours are usually agreed between 8.00am and 5pm, however the post holder may be required to work outside of normal working hours on occasion, with due notice.
