to support our small health and social care organisation, which has around 40 staff, with day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will assist with invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, expense tracking, and basic bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial processes.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Maintain accurate financial records by entering data into accounting software.
Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end closing procedures.
Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial matters.
Support with other general administrative tasks as required.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong numerical proficiency and attention to detail.
Knowledge of XERO accounting software.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Previous experience in finance or accounting is advantageous but not essential.
