Finance Assistant Job in Ringwood
Dovetail Recruitment are pleased to be representing a successful and growing product-based organisation. They are recruiting for a Finance Assistant, and we are confident you will love the day-to-day finance duties for a varied and fulfilling role. The Finance Assistant will assist with month end reporting, and cash flow forecasting. The Finance Assistant will become the right-hand person to the General Manager from a day-to-day finance point of view. You will also be working alongside the part time Accounts Administrator.
Salary and Benefits for the Finance Assistant:

• Salary circa 30,000 per annum
• 28 days holiday PLUS bank holidays
• Office based working Monday - Friday hours 8.50 am to 4.50 pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Management of the finance mailbox, responding to emails and resolving queries in a timely manner.
• Purchase Ledger responsibilities such as processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and allocating payments to invoices, resolving queries.
• Maintaining accurately aged creditors
• Setting up payments and raising purchase orders on behalf of departments
• Processing employee expenses and credit card receipts
• Sales ledger responsibilities such as processing debit notes and allocating receipts to invoices
• Bank reconciliation
• Assisting with month end
• Assisting the Finance Manager with reporting including

• Cash flow forecasting and sales provision calculations
• Bad debt provision calculations
• Aged debtor and aged creditor reports, accruals and prepayments

Minimum Experience for the Senior Finance Assistant:

• Experience with Sage 200 (Sage 50 will also be considered)
• 3 years of experience within a finance or accounts position
• Experience with cashflow forecasting
