Job Description
The Finance Assistant position is a great opportunity for someone to step into a broad and hands-on accounting role. You'll be joining a well-established team, supporting both customer and supplier accounting, and gaining exposure to a wide range of transactional and reporting responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Using SAP and SAP S/4 Hanna to code into the new system update
- Managing customer and supplier ledgers, including reconciliations and payment processing
- Handling charge card, PayPal, and petty cash transactions
- Supporting VAT compliance and budget preparation
- Assisting with MIS reports and statutory financial accounts
- Liaising with banks and third-party vendors to resolve queries
- Ensuring accurate recording of import duties, freight, and employee claims
A successful Finance Assistant Accountant should have:
- Solid Finance Assistant
- SAP exposure (ideally 12+ months) IF SAP S/4 Hanna (Desirable) but some SAP model
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage varied tasks
- Immediate availability or short notice period preferred
