Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to join our team in the Thames Valley. This role is crucial in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting, contributing significantly to our mission of fostering a thriving business community.
Responsibilities
Assist in managing financial records and transactions.
Support the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
Maintain accurate bookkeeping and accounting records.
Process invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
Assist in audits and financial reviews.
Contribute to improving financial processes and systems.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Finance Assistant or similar role.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
