We are looking for a proactive Finance Assistant to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong financial administration skills to contribute to the smooth running of our finance operations. Reporting to the UK Finance Manager you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial tasks. Key Responsibilities
Facilitate communication between the UK office, departments and external stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
Support the Credit Control Team Leader and the credit control team with queries related to customer accounts and payment disputes ensuring prompt resolution.
Support with the management of consignment stock across the network ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
Build strong relationships with suppliers, clients and partners to support business objectives.
Coordinate projects involving credit control and stock management.
Prepare reports on credit control metrics and consignment stock.
Negotiate agreements and resolve disputes related to credit control and stock issues.
Monitor performance metrics for credit control and stock identifying process improvements.
Run the month end reports and month end accrual report clean up in the following month.
Manage the sales reports using our inhouse platform (EOS)
Support with the customer invoicing and AIB uploads.
Process supplier invoices and statement reconciliation.
Monitor the group email inbox and recharge.
Work alongside the purchase ledger team on various ad hoc accounting duties.
Support with all other aspects associated with the efficient running of the UK finance team.
Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar finance or accounts administration role.
Experience using Sage 200.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
AAT qualified is preferred but not essential.
What we can offer you:
This is a full-time, on-site, 12-month fixed term contract role. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday 08:30am - 5:00pm, 40 hours per week.
