Job Description
Here at Vigor Doors Limited we are looking for a proactive and detail orientated Finance Assistant to support our growing finance function. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and efficiency are key.
Responsibilities
Support the Accounts Manager in day-to-day accounting and finance operations Process invoices, credit notes and payments using Sage 50 Maintain accurate financial records and assist with monthly reconciliations Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections Prepare and update spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and management reporting Communicate professionally with clients and suppliers regarding billing, payments and account queries Assist with preparation of VAT returns, payroll support and compliance tasks Support month-end and year-end closing processes Perform ad-hoc financial and administrative tasks as required
Key Skills
Previous experience in accounting/finance roles Proficiency in Sage 50 and Microsoft Excel Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidentiality with clients, suppliers and colleagues Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently as well as a team Understanding of financial processes such as VAT, payroll and reconciliation
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
