Treasury Finance Assistant#

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our supportive, friendly team and expand your Treasury finance experience here at Platform Housing Group, the largest social housing association in the Midlands, but we're much more than just houses; we build homes, strong communities, and make a real and positive difference to the lives of our customers.



In this varied role some of your daily tasks will include coding and processing all direct income and expenditure through Group bank accounts, categorisation of bank statement transactions for cashflow purposes, completing monthly property sale/disposal proceed reconciliations, maintaining the Investment ledger, and processing incoming cheques.



What are we are looking for?





Previous finance experience and basic accounting ability Experience of working with debits and credits Competent ICT skills, including experience of Microsoft Excel AAT Level 3 desirable but not essential Experience of Finance recording, coding, and processing direct income and expenditure would be desirable Good communicator with strong attention to detail Be a team player with a commitment to quality, customer service, best practice, and value for money Be able to follow procedures and be able to use your own initiative



Whist this role is home based, you will be required to travel once a week, to one of our Group Offices located in Birmingham Business Park, Solihull or Central Park, Worcester.
