Finance Assistant
to join our friendly and supportive finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly while developing your skills in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.
As our new Finance Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our finance function managing day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate records, and supporting month-end and year-end processes. From processing invoices and reconciling accounts to preparing reports and supporting compliance, no two days will be the same.
We're not just looking for someone who can crunch numbers, you'll be a valued member of the team, contributing ideas for process improvements and supporting colleagues across the business.
What you'll be doing:
Posting and reconciling bank transactions
Managing accounts payable/receivable and resolving queries
Monitoring and reporting cash flows
Maintaining the fixed asset register
Preparing VAT returns and payroll schedules
Assisting with accruals, prepayments, and financial reporting
Supporting month-end and year-end processes
Jumping in on ad-hoc projects and offering wider support to the finance function

Confidence with numbers and an interest in building a career in finance

Great communication skills and the ability to work well with others
