At Glasscraft we are a manufacturing company producing insulated glass units. The best thing about working at Glasscraft is the people. The finance team is a central function based at Wakefield site. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Finance team reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
We are looking for someone who has previous experience within an accounts/ finance environment, someone that is positive, up for a challenge and has a can-do attitude and approach to their work. Previous working knowledge of Sage 50 is a must as well as excellent Excel skills and must be competent in other Microsoft packages including Word, Outlook and Teams. Excellent communication skills are essential and the successful candidate should be confident in speaking to people over the phone and via email.
This role is based in WF1 (Wakefield).
The role and what is involved?
Assisting with monthly accounts
Assisting in processing supplier payments.
Monthly bank reconciliation.
Responsible for petty cash, posting journals and reconciling.
Organising accounting documents
Completing and submitting tax returns, VAT returns and National Insurance contributions
Assisting with weekly/ monthly Payroll
Carry out any adhoc duties within the finance department which are deemed appropriate.
