We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our finance team.
This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
Checking subcontractor and supplier invoices against agreed and forecasted values (material price, labour rate, day rate, quantities etc)
Prioritising workload to ensure payment deadlines are met
Passing verified invoices over to payroll for the payment to be processed
Filing after photos, satisfaction notes, installation reports appropriately
Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice related issues
Requirements
Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is advantageous.
Strong numerical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
