Graduates are fundamental to our future. Our programme focuses on supporting talented and ambitious graduates to build a first-class foundation for a rewarding career in the nuclear sector.
Our graduate programme covers all aspects of nuclear decommissioning, from the breaking down of nuclear reactors, to the safe transport and treatment of waste, to the restoration of sites for new purposes.
Step into a unique three-year development journey that will rotate you through multiple high-impact placement across the NDA group's Finance, Internal Audit and Risk teams, followed by a final placement in your chosen discipline. You'll gain direct exposure to real-world financial management at NDA sites around the country including sites like Nuclear Restoration Services, Nuclear Transport Solutions, Nuclear Waste Services and Sellafield learning from leading experts who deliver crucial work that truly makes an impact in the nuclear sector.
Alongside hands-on assignments, you'll join our core behavioural development stream to sharpen your communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills. We'll also enrol you in a Level 7 CIMA Apprenticeship, granting six hours per week for dedicated off-the-job learning. Through blended classroom and online study, you'll earn the globally recognised CIMA qualification from the Certificate in Business Accounting through Operations, Management and Strategic levels equipping you to guide organisational strategy, evaluate and manage risks, value businesses and secure the financial resources needed to implement impactful change.
Recent graduates have managed end-to-end invoice and credit-note processing, performed income and expenditure reconciliations to maintain financial integrity, and implemented sanction-tracking frameworks that drove process improvements. They've prepared mission progress reports for senior leadership, composed audit deliverables that underpin regulatory compliance, assessed and elevated risk-maturity across our operating companies, and conducted detailed balance-sheet reconciliations to ensure absolute accuracy.
We are looking for individuals who can thrive in both collaborative and technical environments. If you have a demonstrable set of technical skills and a passion for the nuclear sector, we highly encourage you to apply.
