The Opportunity: We are delighted to be currently recruiting for a Finance Business Insights & Data Specialist to join us at our Bristol Head Office. This is a permanent opportunity available at both full time and part time (from 30 hours to 37.5 hours per week). This opportunity also offers the benefits of flexible hybrid working, typically, this will require you to work from the Bristol office 1- 2 days per week with a choice of working from home or the office on the other days. The Finance Business Insights & Data Specialist is responsible for creating, streamlining, and providing timely insight and analysis to service the Finance Department\xe2\x80\x99s responsibilities for performance monitoring, statutory reporting and strategic planning. You will collaborate with co-workers across the department and with international Group colleagues in the development and provision of management information (MI) and systematic solutions that develop insight, control and support decision-making. Key responsibilities will require you to:
  • Drive the development, streamlining and automation of monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc management reporting to support the Financial Control and Business Performance and Strategy teams.
  • Produce activity-based costing analysis, such as Cost to Acquire/Cost to Serve results and productivity metrics based on best-practice in the sector.
  • Undertake root cause analysis and identifying and implementing change as needed, including preparing and presenting of proposals through to risk mitigation or acceptance
  • Act as Finance subject matter expert in data, being the central point and primary source of knowledge, in particular relating to risks, opportunities and mapping.
  • Create and manage inventories to support data risk management within Finance: End User Computing (EUC), data lineage/storage/mapping.
  • Resolve regulatory issues including those identified through 2nd line horizon scanning, identifying and creating action plans and delivering required results.
  • Support with the definition, analysis and implementation of large and small improvement projects
  • Comply with all regulatory obligations and internal governance to help ensure ethical behaviour which delivers fair outcomes for Triodos Bank customers and avoiding foreseeable harm in line with Triodos practice of putting customers at the heart of what we do.
What we are looking for: You will be a specialist in designing and producing management information in all formats. You will mine the data sources and automate the output for regular and ad hoc activities, turning data not just into numbers, but meaningful insight which can be actioned. You will be comfortable with financial information, such as general ledger data, or risk model data and will have relevant experience in producing activity-based costing (such as Cost to Acquire / Cost to Serve) and productivity metrics. Experience of handling risk data in financial services would also be beneficial for this role and you will be an expert user of reporting tools (such as Visual Basic, Qliksense) with a successful track record of implementation. You will also be comfortable with developing scenario analysis and stress testing results. Able to communicate effectively at all levels you will be confident and effective in providing training co-worker, helping to resolve issues demonstrating a solutions-focused approach. Offer

In return for your hard work and expertise, you will receive a salary of between \xc2\xa338,000-\xc2\xa345,000 Full time equivalent salary depending on experience, plus access to our extensive benefits package, where most of our benefits are non-contributory. Our benefits include:
