Job Title: Finance Business Partner (Central Services)

Salary: 50,000 - 55,000




Contract type: Permanent




Working hours: 37 hours per week




About the role



Reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner, this is a critical role, business partnering some of our most senior leaders. Key responsibilities include managing the cost bases for our Central Services Functions and Company-wide Projects, being the first point of contact in Finance for many of our Exec and Senior Leadership Teams The role will be expected to deliver the following:- + Monitoring of cost improvement / efficiency plans, highlighting risks to achievement and supporting identification of alternative plans where necessary.
+ Ensure that financial decisions are in keeping with the longer-term strategic aims of the Group, and investments continue to drive continuous business improvements.
+ Financial modelling of all business cases, with clear costs and desired financial outcomes approved prior to investments.
+ Provision of clear, concise and actionable financial advice monthly to the business area Leadership and Executive to enable informed decision-making.
+ Taking ownership of forecasting, ensuring projections have strong commercial rationale, and are activity driven wherever possible.

About you



We are looking for experienced Finance Business Partners (or similar discipline, e.g. Strategy or Mgmt. reporting) who can demonstrate a track record of adding value to the organisations they work with. A qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACA) with substantial commercial post qualified experience Ability to understand the strategic business goals of an organisation, including delivering customer value and managing capital expenditure, with the ability to `look beyond the numbers` and understand the wider business context. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation. Analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights and interpret the impact of both financial and non-financial commercial decisions. Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities, ideally with advanced Excel skills Initiative-taking, results-oriented, and commercial mindset with the ability to thrive in a complex working environment.
