About the role



We're looking for a skilled Finance Business Partner to join our Management Accountancy team. This permanent full-time role offers hybrid working flexibility and will see you playing a pivotal role in managing the financial information related to rents and service charges. You'll support key decision-making processes and help ensure our financial practices are robust, accurate, and aligned with our business objectives.

What you'll be doing



Monitoring financial expenditure across energy, rents, and service charges. Supporting the implementation of the new Housing System (Civica) for rent management. Assisting with budget setting for utilities, rents, RTBs, and service charges. Supervising finance team members to ensure accurate budget management and expenditure tracking. Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring audit requirements are met. Completing accounting reconciliations and month-end management accounts to ensure financial integrity. Supporting preparation of financial statements and year-end accounting processes. Liaising with internal and external auditors regarding relevant financial areas. Championing Equality, Diversity & Inclusion in all your work. Reporting Health & Safety issues and sharing appropriate learning.

What we're looking for



CCAB or CIMA qualified, or actively working towards achieving this qualification. Proven experience in financial management, ideally within housing or a similar sector. Strong understanding of budgeting, accounting reconciliations, and financial reporting. Ability to lead and support junior finance team members effectively. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle complex financial information clearly.
