Are you ready to take the next step in your finance career and make a real impact from day one? We're looking for a commercially minded and ambitious Newly Qualified Accountant to join our growing Commercial Finance team.


Reporting directly to the Head of Costs, Software and Platforms Finance, you'll be at the heart of managing and improving cost control across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and drive a cost-conscious culture, working closely with budget holders and key stakeholders across departments.

Please note, we can consider applications that are in the vicinity of any of our office locations including Prudhoe, Hessle, Nelson, Bristol, and Derby. This role requires regular travel to effectively business partner with key stakeholders.

What you'll be doing



Own and lead the month-end review process for overheads and CAPEX, working closely with our operational finance team to ensure accurate, insightful reporting. Take charge of forecasting and budgeting models, continuously improving and automating processes to drive efficiency. Use your analytical skills to identify cost-saving opportunities and support delivery through strategic collaboration with stakeholders. Educate and partner with non-finance teams, helping them understand the financial impact of decisions and championing a financially aware culture. Facilitate monthly review sessions with budget holders to align strategy and spend. Be a visible and proactive voice within the business on all things cost-related.

Your Experience



You're a Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) ready to hit the ground running. A natural communicator, able to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. Passionate about process improvement with experience driving change and challenging the status quo. Skilled in financial modelling, forecasting, and data analysis with a keen eye for detail. A team player who's comfortable navigating a fast-paced, evolving environment.
