We now have a new opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic Business Finance Team. You'll work closely with business leaders in our Landscaping & Building Products Business Units, driving growth and profitability.
So, what's the role?
You will collaborate with key stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business, accounts, reporting cycles, and financial performance. You'll take ownership of the P&L and Balance Sheet and your business unit's performance, using your keen judgement to manage and escalate issues effectively.
You'll play a pivotal role in delivering accurate forecasts/budgets and monthly accounts, including using standard costing and variance analysis to provide clear visibility of production performance, material usage and labour efficiency.
Be at the forefront of shaping our strategy and driving the business toward its strategic goals by presenting insightful Management Information (MI) to our senior leaders. Your contributions will directly enhance the financial performance of our BUs, boosting profitability and improving the top line. By continuously improving the quality of our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and commercial decision-making, you'll ensure all stakeholders receive the right support at the right time.
In this role, it is pivotal that you work effectively with stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing the right solutions to support business objectives. A strong people-centric approach is essential, as you will be expected to build and maintain positive relationships throughout the organisation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for encouraging cooperation and coordination across teams and departments.
Regularly, you'll travel to manufacturing sites across the country, gaining invaluable insights into our operations.
