Summary

We are seeking a truly commercially minded Finance Business Partner to work alongside our Heads of Department. You will offer sound commercial finance insight and challenge, giving visibility of departmental performance. Ultimately identify and implement opportunities to improve financial performance. Responsible for producing P&L analysis, departmental P&L's, reporting. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential as well as excellent stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Delivering commercial and operational improvements and assisting in "finance for non-finance" business partnering which ultimately lead to increase profitability. Give Insight into the reasons behind the performance against budget. Explain variance to Budget/PY for use in the weekly/monthly management meetings by the Finance Director. Monthly/weekly reporting on performance of department prepared. Main performance drivers are identified and reported on. Be a true business partner to the head of department to challenge ideals whilst maintaining a strong working relationship. Provide finance training to Up-skill stakeholders from a non-finance background. Support the wider finance team by being a visible leader and mentor. Drive continuous improvement of finance processes.

Qualifications

Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA) with relevant experience in FP&A Proven experience in complex financial management. Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
