ROLE PURPOSE
This role partners with support functions such as Technology and Legal departments delivering financial expertise and analysis providing insights to support strategy, decision making and drive business performance. This role with partners with functional leads and with Finance.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
To be successful in this role you will need to:
Build relationships to become a trusted business partner.
Providing support and accurate analysis to functional heads
Successfully own and manage the cost base including month end, budgets and forecasts.
Support the development of MI and KPIs that contribute to the direction and results of the business.
Communicate financial information clearly and concisely.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Comprehensive list of all duties and responsibilities
+ Month end (including appropriate accounting treatment.
+ Budgeting and forecasting.
+ Business cases.
+ MI reporting.
+ Process improvements.
+ A key contributor to the finance team, acting as a role model with a positive, enthusiastic can-do approach.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Required experience
+ Demonstrate a strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles with the ability to apply them practically to a business
+ Business partnering, adding real value to both strategic and tactical priorities
+ Proven track record of process improvement
+ Ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise tasks effectively Required qualifications
+ ACA, ACCA, CIMA accounting qualification with a 2+ years PQE Key skills needed to succeed in the role
+ Strong excel skills and proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications are essential.
+ Attention to detail, with a natural curiosity and willingness to find and fix problems
+ Clear presentation of data and findings at an appropriate level for the audience
