Job Description
The Finance Business Partner role is focused on providing financial insights and support to ensure effective decision-making. This temporary position in West London requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in Local Government finance from a social care background.
- Provide financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide financial support to the Adult Social Care business, assisting with financial planning, budgeting, and identifying savings.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Support audits by providing accurate and timely financial data.
- Act as the key finance contact for specific projects or initiatives.
A successful Finance Business Partner should have:
- Professional Accounting qualification (CIPFA, ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within a Local Authority or a similar environment.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and budgeting.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance staff.
- Competitive daily rate of 475to 525.
