This role is a 6-12 month Fixed Term Contract and requires 2-3 days per week onsite presence in Manchester

The role:



You'll be working with practice groups and key stakeholders to provide strategic financial insight, enabling data-driven decision-making. This role requires a proactive, analytical mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between finance and the broader business.

Strategic Partnering: Financial Analysis and Reporting Budgeting and Forecasting: Profitability Management: Stakeholder Communication: Compliance and Risk Management: Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and systems. Collaborate with IT and other teams to implement data-driven solutions and reporting tools.

Essential:



ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualification or equivalent. Proven experience in a finance business partnering role, ideally within a professional services environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.

Desirable:



Previous experience in a law firm or similar professional services firm. Knowledge of practice management systems such as Elite 3E or Aderant. Familiarity with Legal Sector KPIs (e.g., WIP, utilisation, realisation).
