The Role


Finance Business Partner



Salary: Transform Trust pay scale rank 4 42,429-46,431 per annum (Pay Award from September 2025 - decision pending)



Full time and all year round.



Based at Unit 11, Castlebridge Office Village, Nottingham NG7 1LD





We are looking for a motivated and ambitious person to join the central finance team of our Multi Academy Trust. Managing school finance relies on strong understanding of schools and full knowledge of its income and costs. Now imagine supporting school finance across 26 primary schools!



Transform Trust is a Multi Academy Trust with over 8500 children in 26 Primary Schools covering Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, Derby and Derbyshire. We support school leadership in maximising the available resource for the benefit of Transform children. Working as part of the central finance team, you will support the Director of Finance in delivering business partnering services to schools. As a Trust we have further ambition to grow, and we expect this of our people too.



If you are an ambitious aspiring finance professional with a desire to learn new skills and progress in your qualifications in a challenging but rewarding environment this is the role for you. In addition, you will be an ambassador for the Trust and must have a customer-facing approach in your interactions with our schools



Essential skills required for the role:

Finance graduate/Part Qualified Accountant or Some AAT Qualification Level 3 minimum with an interest to build on these qualifications Experience of acting in a business partnering capacity. Competence on MS Office products - e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word In depth knowledge of computerized financial systems. Customer service ethos - Trust schools are our customers.
