Were On the Beach. Theres over 600 of us, mostly at home, and sometimes in our office in Manchester. For this role, you can apply from anywhere in the UK, and youll visit the office to connect with your team and stakeholders once a fortnight.

What you'll be doing
We are looking for a part time Overheads Business Partner to work with us 3 days a week. The role is responsible for working with key stakeholders providing financial support to optimise overhead spend and support the business growth objectives. The role will work closely with stakeholders across the business, providing accurate and timely reporting and ensuring a robust forecasting process is in place.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports analysing variances in overhead costs including IT, HR, Facilities and Legal
Work closely with the Management accounts team to support the month end close process, ensuring accurate and timely monthly overhead reporting and analysis.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to prepare and review budgets for overhead costs, providing insight and analysis to support the Group planning process.
Develop robust forecasting models for overhead lines, working closely with stakeholders to identify cost trends, drivers and opportunities.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand the business needs and provide guidance, support and challenge for initiatives, projects and investments.
Establish KPIs for overhead departments and regularly monitor performance against these metrics.
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and controls within overhead functions.
Work closely with finance and commercial business partners to drive forward the analysis and reporting across the overheads functions.
You'll be a great addition to our team if you have the following skills, knowledge and experience
Essential:
ACA or equivalent qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years PQE or qualified by experience with time in a business partnering role
Strong finance knowledge with the ability to comprehend business issues and develop coherent & comprehensive business solutions
Excellent stakeholder manager
Excellent analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
Experience in large private/listed organisations with tight reporting deadlines is preferred.
Highly Desirable:
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
Ability to influence and challenge, including at a senior level
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Superior Excel analysis and reporting capabilities
Experience of manipulating and breaking down large volumes of data
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to take ownership and manage workloads to tight deadlines
Ability to work confidentially with sensitive information

Ways of working
Our fulltime hours are 37.5 per week, but we don't have rigid working hours so you can find the working pattern that's right for you. We have core working hours between 10am - 4pm, so we can collaborate and enjoy the social side of work.
We also have hybrid working so we all work from home and from our Aeroworks office in Manchester City Centre. Youll be in the office two days a week, typically Tuesday or Wednesday, and then work from home the remainder of the week. As mentioned above this is a part time role for 3 days a week in total.
