Grade 8: 48,235 - 57,255 per annum including the Oxford University Weighting of 1,500 per annum

Permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week)

Are you ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic and growing environment? We're seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our forward-thinking team. Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, this is a unique opportunity to combine strategic thinking, financial expertise and business insight to influence the future of our organisation.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with senior leadership, including Programme Directors and Business Development Directors, providing expert financial analysis and strategic advice. You will be instrumental in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling, driving improvements in financial performance and ensuring that key financial targets are met.

Key responsibilities:
Partner with senior management to develop budgets, monitor performance and recommend corrective actions. Provide commercial and financial advice for evaluating new ventures and identifying ways to improve financial performance. Develop financial plans to ensure sustainability and identify potential risks. Prepare budgets and forecasts, collaborating with budget holders to ensure understanding and ownership of financial targets. Produce monthly management accounts with commentary on variances, trends and strategic insights. Contribute to the School's strategic planning process by producing medium-term financial projections and highlighting areas of risk and opportunity. Play a lead role in improving financial systems and processes, sharing best practice across departments.
You will hold or be progressing towards a recognised accounting qualification, with proven experience in finance business partnering or management accounting, including financial planning and analysis. You will demonstrate strong commercial acumen, advanced Excel skills, and a track record of improving financial systems and processes. Your communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels will be key to your success, along with the ability to work flexibly in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
