Purpose




We're seeking an accomplished

Finance Business Partner

to join Peppermint -- a leader in events and hospitality delivering exceptional bars and F&B experiences at the UK's biggest festivals and venues.


You'll be the financial lead across a portfolio of high-profile events and venues -- from

BST Hyde Park

and

Camp Bestival

to

The O2

,

Aviva Stadium

, and

Wimbledon

-- providing strategic insights, managing budgets, and driving commercial performance.


Working closely with operational and project teams, you'll combine strong financial control with a hands-on approach to deliver accurate reporting, robust forecasting, and sound commercial advice. This is a high-impact role within a collaborative team where your expertise will directly shape the success of live events enjoyed by millions.

Responsibilities




The Finance Business Partner will:

Lead month-end close, weekly reporting, and financial analysis across key venues and events. Own event and venue budgets -- monitoring performance, challenging overspend, and ensuring accurate forecasting. Partner with Operations and Project Managers to deliver timely, accurate client and management reporting. Reconcile revenue, stock, and costs to maintain robust financial control and insight. Manage weekly payment runs, purchase order compliance, and audit support. Produce financial reports and analysis to identify trends and drive commercial performance. Support annual budgeting, reforecasting, and continuous improvement of finance processes. Collaborate across Finance and Operations teams to deliver exceptional results and gain hands-on experience in the live events sector.

Requirements




Finance Business Partner Skillset:

Proven experience in project accounting within hospitality, venues, or live events. Strong analytical, budgeting, and Excel skills (vlookups, sumifs, pivot tables). Commercially aware with the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders. Highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable managing multiple revenue streams. Excellent communicator with clear presentation and relationship-building skills. Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for the events and entertainment industry. Experience with Paprika or similar accounting systems advantageous. CIMA / ACCA / ACA part-qualified (intermediate or finalist level preferred).
