OPPORTUNITY

Reporting into the Director of Finance and IT, the

Finance Business Partner

will be the strategic finance lead for key business areas, working closely with one Commercial Manager and three Senior Operational Managers. You'll help shape the financial future of the organisation--embedding finance into operational decision-making and translating financial data into meaningful insight.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead budgeting, forecasting, pricing and investment processes Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support planning and performance Act as the key finance lead on contracts, bids, and tenders--ensuring pricing is commercially sound Drive improvements in revenue recognition, billing and working capital Lead on contribution analysis and scenario modelling to support strategic decisions Embed financial insight into day-to-day service delivery Mentor and coach junior finance resource (0.5 FTE) and collaborate closely with the Finance Manager Lead the finance working group aligned to the organisation's 5-year strategy

PERSON

As the Finance Business Partner, ideally you'll be a qualified accountant (or finalist) with a strong track record of delivering insight and partnering with senior stakeholders in a complex, multi-stakeholder business. Sector experience in services, healthcare, not-for-profit or commercial environments would be ideal.

Key Skills & Experience:

Fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, pricing and financial analysis Strong communication skills and the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders Excellent commercial acumen with a values-led approach to decision making Comfortable working independently and remotely Knowledge of contract profitability, working capital, and contribution analysis is advantageous
