Hutcheon Mearns is working with a reputable educational institution which offers a flexible and diverse workplace to hire a Finance Business Partner on a full time, staff basis. Our client is based in Aberdeen City Centre with hybrid and flexible working. As a senior member of the finance team, the Finance Business Partner works closely with the rest of the senior leadership team to align financial planning and decision-making with the organisation's overall goals and objectives.

Background and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field Professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or significant equivalent experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Advanced proficiency in financial management software and Excel Strong leadership and influencing skills Significant experience in financial management or business partnering Experience working with non-finance staff to drive financial performance and decision-making Proven experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, analysis, and reporting Proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience of process improvement
