Job Description

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team as Strategic Business Partner - Transformation & Efficiency. In this role you will lead our Transformation & Efficiency (T&E) function, driving the delivery of programmes to improve value, embed efficiencies, and support strategic decision-making across the Trust. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, influencing change, and ensuring robust governance of cost improvement and transformation activity.
You'll be instrumental in shaping our future finances, ensuring alignment with broader strategic aims, and supporting cultural change across the organisation.

Main duties of the job
  • Lead, manage and co-ordinate the Trust's Transformation & Efficiency agenda.
  • Provide high quality financial advice and analysis to senior leaders, guiding investment decisions and business cases.
  • Ensure robust CIP (Cost Improvement Programme) accounting, validation, tracking, and governance.
  • Produce timely and accurate reports, returns, forecasts and assurance documents.
  • Liaise with regional and national bodies, representing the Trust and sharing best practice.
  • Support, mentor and develop staff within the T&E team.
  • Contribute actively to cross-Trust transformation and change programmes, ensuring financial rigour and alignment with objectives.

  • Extensive NHS finance experience, ideally in a Trust.
