Your Role
As a Finance Business Partner at LEO Pharma, you will act as a key finance partner embedded within the UK affiliate' commercial teams. You'll provide insightful financial analysis and commercial guidance to support our teams including sales, marketing and operational excellence. You'll ensure robust financial controls and governance within the affiliate, supporting full P&L ownership and helping to optimise commercial performance in line with pharmaceutical industry standards.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with commercial leadership to influence strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making.
• Providing commercial insight and financial modelling to support pricing, market access strategies, promotional investments, and margin improvement initiatives specific to the pharmaceutical market.
• Supporting robust P&L management, including monthly reviews, variance analysis, and actionable recommendations to achieve financial targets.
• Implementing and monitoring robust financial controls and compliance frameworks tailored to the regulatory environment and corporate policies.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and improve financial performance.
• Preparing and presenting clear, commerically-focused reports and financial narratives to affiliate leadership and corporate stakeholders.
• Mentoring stakeholders within the commercial affiliate to promote best practices and continuous learning to drive excellence in financial management.

This role is based from our Head Office in Maidenhead, with the opportunity to work remotely 2 days per week.
Your Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent
• Prior experience in a Finance Business Partner or Commercial Finance role within the pharmaceuticals arena, ideally supporting commercial affiliates.
• Proven ability to collaborate with senior commercial leaders and influence decision-making in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Commercial acumen with direct experience managing P&L, pricing, and margin strategies.
• Experience establishing and maintaining financial controls and compliance in line with pharma industry standards and local regulations.
• Analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear commercial insights.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging both financial and non-financial audiences.
• Proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented approach in a dynamic and changing commercial landscape.
