Salary range: up to circa 359,000 per annum DOE + red-hot benefits
Location: UK Remote with the occasional visit to either our Glasgow or Newcastle HUB

What you'll be doing

• Using your financial experience and acumen to analyse monthly results, understand drivers, challenge business performance and assist with the planning and forecasting process to help inform the strategic business plans.
• Produce concise, clear, insightful and forward-looking reporting on a monthly and ad hoc basis to enable senior leaders to own their numbers and manage their business.
• Identify risks and opportunities and clearly communicate how they will contribute to the future financial performance of the department.
• Building strong and effective working relationships with colleagues across the business to achieve an aligned and cohesive approach to how the financial costs performance is communicated effectively.
• Contribute to the delivery of a best-in-class partnering service for the business - to understand and drive business performance, to support the realisation of objectives and commitments.
• Act as a key point of contact for all finance reporting, budgeting and controls related to relevant business areas.
• Contribute to continues improvement and development of processes within the Cost team and wider Business Partnering team.

We need you to have

• Strong recent experience within a similar Finance role.
• Qualified accounting qualification, or working towards (or equivalent experience)
• Proven excellent analysis, planning, reporting and presentation abilities.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting forecasting and variance analysis.
• Knowledge of accounting standards.
• A great understanding of the business industry, market dynamics and key performance drivers.
• The ability to challenge assumptions and propose financially sound business decisions.
