CONTRACT TYPE: 12 month FTC
DEPARTMENT: Finance and Central Support
LOCATION: Flexible, however the successful candidate will be required to travel once a week to a BBC base.
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: 73,000-83,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Business Partner to support the Corporate Functions within the Chief Operating Officer Group (COOG).
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and steering a complex 400m budget to ensure alignment with the organisation's strategic objectives and performance targets. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing financial insight and challenge to drive informed decision-making and value creation across the business.
This is a unique opportunity to shape a new area of responsibility and be at the forefront of transformation and innovation across the BBC's corporate functions. You will lead change initiatives, introduce new ways of working and influence the future of how we operate. A key part of the role will be leveraging data analytics and digital tools to enhance financial insight, improve forecasting accuracy and support evidence-based decision-making.
Working with multiple senior stakeholders, you'll support high-impact projects that drive strategic value, operational excellence and innovation.
