The Finance Senior Associate role within the Business Partnering Team is a key support for general finance and business decision support. Working closely with the Finance Managers and Finance Leader to produce the financial insights needed by our business and managing local financial control processes. This is a collaborative, diverse and engaging role, and a vital function to the firm.
The individual in this role can expect to be exposed to a variety of critical Finance functions, depending on their skills and aspirations. They will also build working relationships with other Business Partnering teams, Finance Directors, Capability leadership, Finance functions and PwC's Centres of Excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance management and commercial oriented solutions, including interpretation of monthly financial results and preparation of commentary to the Finance Leader, with a focus on commercial impact.
Financial control and compliance, providing business leaders with relevant accounting advice from the development stage through the life of engagements, always considering commercial implications.
Engagement support on forecasting and driving commercial outcomes as required by project delivery teams.
Budgeting and forecasting, using business insights and analysis to assist in the preparation of budgets, plans and forecasts that support commercial objectives.
The skills and experience we are looking for:
You are qualified / part qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA (or an international equivalent).
You have experience of P&L month end close.
You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply commercial thinking to complex scenarios.
You are a strong relationship builder who earns trust with key stakeholders, and you pay close attention to detail.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate commercial insights clearly and persuasively.
You have a technology-enabled mindset and can identify and drive change through technology adoption.
You are proficient in intermediate to advanced Excel, with a focus on continuous improvement in all areas of your work.
