Marks Sattin is happy to partner with a family-owned events business. Proudly independent and sustainable our client is looking for an experienced finance professional to join their small, but fun team on temporary basis. It will be beneficial If you are coming from the hospitality, retail or associated industies\' background.

This is a key role supporting the CEO. As a Finance manager you will provide accounting leadership and direction, and ensure numbers are reported accurately and in line with legislation. You will have the ability to manage a team and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.

This role will be paying \xc2\xa355,000- \xc2\xa360,000 p/a on initial 4 month fixed contract

Financial Controller Key Responsibilities:

- Produce accurate and timely cash flow forecasts in line with seasonal fluctuations in the industry

- Day-to-day operational finance responsibilities to include overseeing payroll, purchase and sales ledger

- Preparation of monthly management accounts alongside commentary for the board

- Adhoc financial reporting and analysis to aid decision making

- Business partner with non-finance leadership up to and including CEO

- Management of a team of 3, lead and direct on a daily basis

• Hospitality, leisure, retail or associated industry experience
• Qualified accountant by ACCA, CIMA or ACA (Qualified by experience will be considered)
• Intermediate to advanced excel skills to include data manipulation and standard formulas
• Strong stakeholder management skills
