Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Controller to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounts, and supporting the overall financial health of the organisation. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping practices.

Duties

Maintain accurate financial records by recording day-to-day financial transactions. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accounted for. Prepare monthly financial reports to assist in budget management and forecasting. Utilise accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage to manage financial data effectively. Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits as required. Provide support in preparing tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role. Proficiency in accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or other relevant platforms. Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
