Finance Data Clerk

Location: Eastham

Salary: 27,000 - 28,000 per annum

The Role:

We are seeking an Finance Data Clerk to work alongside our transport planners, reporting into the Planning Manager.


This full-time, Monday-to-Friday role based at Eastham. The working hours will be 08:00 16:00.


The role will involve the following key responsibilities:


Perform daily reconciliations in coordination with the Planning team to ensure all chargeable elements are accurately captured. Optimise data reporting processes to improve accuracy and efficiency. Generate weekly and monthly KPI reports to support business performance tracking. Oversee weekly resource completion activities, with a particular focus on Valero-related operations. Raise & receipt purchased orders for the sector Handle general administrative tasks, including: Chasing and processing Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation Scanning and archiving delivery records Confirming deliveries Conducting weekly fleet reconciliations

Person Specification:

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the logistics or transport industry. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyse large data sets. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines. A proactive team player with a flexible approach to work. A quick learner who is comfortable with new systems and processes.
