We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Director to lead the Banking Reporting Unit, a key segment within our Office & Production division. This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing a team of 40+ professionals and managing revenue exceeding 200 million. The successful candidate will act as a trusted business partner to the Managing Director, driving financial performance, commercial excellence, and strategic growth.

As Finance Director, you will be responsible for the end-to-end financial performance of the Banking Reporting Unit. You will lead financial reporting, compliance, and governance while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. This role demands strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to build influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial and commercial support to business leaders.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing finance team.
- Ensure accurate and timely internal reporting (WD4, BR, monthly reviews).
- Drive forecasting and guide operational delivery.
- Oversee compliance with contractual obligations and client reporting.
- Manage payroll data, WFM governance, and procurement activities.
- Analyse performance trends and implement improvement strategies.
- Run mobilisations, demobilisations, and client engagements.
- Champion process and system improvements for smarter working.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- 5+ years in financial leadership within large-scale environments.
- Experience in FM or service industries, ideally in low-margin settings.
- Proven track record in financial transformation and profitable growth.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to simplify complex issues.
- Skilled in contract governance and commercial negotiations.
- Comfortable working in a matrix organisation with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead agile, high-performing teams.
