We're searching for a commercially sharp and strategic

Finance Director

to join our Senior Leadership Team at

WPS Advisory

, an innovative FCA-regulated financial services firm that is driven by people and technology.

This is a pivotal hands-on leadership role - perfect for someone ready to own the finance function, shape business strategy, and work closely with the CEO and Board to drive growth.

The Role

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Board, you will:

Direct the finance team in managing financial control, planning, forecasting, and reporting Drive compliance with FCA regulations and oversee audit and regulatory reporting Deliver insightful financial analysis, modelling, and risk management to inform growth strategy Present to the Board and support CEO/SLT with strategic, data-led decision-making Oversee system implementations and upgrades, ensuring scalable financial operations Be a key member of the Leadership Team, helping to shape current and future strategy

Your Profile

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 5 years PQE in SME or regulated financial services Proven experience leading finance in an FCA-regulated environment, with Board exposure Technically adept--strong Excel skills, financial systems implementation, Power BI familiarity Commercially minded, with a track record of building financial strategy in tech-enabled environments Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 80,000.00-110,000.00 per year
