Job Description

We are looking for a commercially minded and hands-on Finance Director to join our leadership team in a leading UK-based food manufacturing business. This is a critical role, overseeing all financial operations and shaping the strategic direction of the company in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

As Finance Director, you will lead business planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cost control, and compliance, while partnering with operational teams to drive efficiency and profitability across production, supply chain, and distribution. You will ensure robust financial controls are in place, manage risk, and provide insight-driven support to aid strategic decision-making and growth planning.

You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with substantial experience in senior finance roles, ideally but not essential within the FMCG or food manufacturing sector. A strong understanding of UK GAAP/IFRS, cost accounting, and margin management is essential.

Experience with ERP systems and a strong grasp of operational finance in a manufacturing context will be key.
