Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Finance Director to join our team on a part-time, based in Stevenage. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on experience in financial management, helping guide our organization through growth and operational efficiency.

Duties

Lead financial strategy, planning, and forecasting Manage budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow Oversee compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements Provide financial insights to support executive decision-making Liaise with external auditors, accountants, and banks Evaluate financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement Support fundraising, grant applications, or investor relations (if applicable)

Qualifications

Proven experience as Finance Director, CFO, or senior financial manager Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) preferred Strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite) Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work independently and manage remote work effectively
