V3 Facilities Management Limited

is seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance Executive with a strong background in construction to join our Accounts team. The successful candidate will manage credit control processes, oversee HMRC duties, payroll responsibilities, and support overall financial and administrative operations. This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of construction industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, and receipts Assist with bank reconciliations and ledger management

Credit Control:

Monitor and manage outstanding customer payments Issue statements, chase overdue accounts, and negotiate payment plans Reduce aged debt and improve cash flow

HMRC Duties:

Assist with compliance with HMRC regulations, including VAT submissions and PAYE reporting Handle correspondence and liaison with HMRC Assist with payroll records in accordance with HMRC requirements

Payroll Management:

Assist with payroll for staff and subcontractors Ensure timely payments and correct deductions

Construction Industry Knowledge:

Understand industry-specific payment terms and contractual obligations, CIS deductions, Domestic Reverse Charge, Retentions. Collaborate with project managers, QS and finance teams to ensure smooth financial operations

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in credit control, finance, or administration within the construction sector Knowledge of HMRC regulations, payroll management, and VAT procedures Strong understanding of construction industry financial processes Excellent communication and negotiation skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Proficiency in MS Office, Xero accounting software, and spreadsheets
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 27,000.00-30,000.00 per year
