Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance / HR Assistant to join our team on a fixed term basis for 6-months.

This dual-role position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to both the Finance and Human Resources departments, supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities:



Finance Duties



Assist with Accounts Payable: process invoices, resolve supplier queries, and support payment run preparation. Perform Credit Control: chase outstanding payments, handle customer queries, and reconcile accounts. Help maintain a healthy operating cashflow by monitoring customer aging metrics. Set up new customer accounts and manage credit limits within the ERP system. Allocate incoming and outgoing cash from bank transactions to the cashbook. Maintain accurate and compliant financial records in line with statutory and internal standards.

HR Administrative Support



Coordinate monthly appointments with our Occupational Health service provider. Source training quotes upon request and manage related documentation. Organise and distribute invites for monthly Lunch & Learn sessions. Order safety footwear and issue vouchers for VDU tests and safety glasses. Update and maintain the Time & Attendance system.

Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent organisational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Dependable, results-driven, and eager to contribute to team success. Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 25,000.00-27,000.00 per year
