The Opportunity As a Finance Intern at Rotork, from day one you\xe2\x80\x99ll find yourself at the heart of the action with the opportunity to be involved in a variety of finance related activities. These could be within Risk, Financial Accounting, Commercial Finance, Reporting or Planning & Analysis. All the while gaining invaluable knowledge and skills, and an unrivalled understanding of how the Finance function operates in a global business. Throughout your internship you will be fully supported by our Early Careers team, a graduate buddy and ongoing learning and development from our leaders and technical experts. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be working collaboratively as part of a high performing team, to build your finance and accounting skills, career prospects, and your knowledge of Rotork. From day one you\xe2\x80\x99ll play a meaningful role by supporting our Finance team in their different initiatives such as:

• Supporting the annual cost centre planning process.
• Supporting with month end closing activities.
• Working closely with colleagues and other departments to ensure a complete picture of the business is understood for forecasting and reporting purposes.
• Focusing on continuous process automation to maximize the departments deliverables to the Business Units supported and internal stakeholders.

As a successful Candidate you will:

• Likely be an Undergraduate on track to achieve a 2:1 bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a numerate, data or quantitative based degree such as Accounting, Business, Economics, Computer Science, Analytics, Maths etc.
• Be looking for a summer internship between your penultimate and final year of studies, or sandwich placement as part of your studies.
• Have strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with a real passion for finance, accounting, business, or economics, with the desire to make a difference.
• Be a team player that shares knowledge and insights and thrives in a dynamic environment.
• Have a strong level of initiative and problem-solving skills.
